Changed the carb out today with one that I have been saving to go back on my 84 4X4 pickup. It is the carb that was on the pickup when I bought it, a Motorcraft built by Holley. It runs much better, very little stumble when I goose it, should be able to adjust the time and play with the carb just a bit to clear it up. Actually got to drive it in the yard a little, with the other carb, it would go dead just as soon as you put it in gear. With this one, and bumping the timing up just a fuzz, it will idle in gear, so I feel better about that. The brakes still aren't right, having to pump them just to get a decent pedal. Got to try and bleed them again if it's warm this weekend. I found a radiator on eBay, so I put some stuff on there to sell to get the ole paypal account up so I can get that pretty soon. I just need more warm weather to do a few more things, looks like tommorrow night will be our coldest since last Feb, Brrrrrrrrrr!

    And it drives, too!

Got to make that long awaited road test today! All I can say is, WOW!!! :bouncy::bouncy::bouncy: Put about 15 or 20 miles on it today, from a little slow speed cruising to a couple of standing start full throttle passes. Even with the 2.79 gears, it has plenty of get up and go. I still have to get the front end aligned, it pulls a little to the left, but I will get that done after FFW. All in all I'm tickled with it. The things left can be completed while I enjoy driving it!:drive::burnout:
