I have alot of money up in the rafters of the garage, over in the corner(s), up on the tool box, here, there... I need to put it all together so it will add up to something.

JPS, did you take the dash out to do the work? I have my glass out and that's the only way I see to take the dash out.

Didnt take the dash out, although I think the whole front section of the dash comes out separately from the back plastic section(that has the defroster vents).

Underneath the dash pad is a seam, Im not sure whether the factory spot welded them together or not, but it seems to me it wouldnt be too hard to separate it.

    Thanks.
I have mine completly out and was just curious if you took yours out.
I just dread putting it all back together. It seems things come apart easier than they go back together. I know for a fact they come apart faster :rofl2:

When I stripped my dash down I removed everything that didnt need to be there...about a week ago I stripped the engine bay of all AC components, and when I got under the dash I removed everything with the exception of the heater and the defrost vents for the windshield, all the huge vent lines and everything was taken out, so I have tons of room behind the dash now...lol

instead of putting the lower panel back on under the main dash Im thinking about fabricating a custom panel just for fun...make it come out at the bottom slightly instead of following the dash line in so Ill have a place for gauges, switches, and such

I added you to yahoo so we wouldnt be chatting back and forth in a topic, but youre offline.

Im about to head out the door, started taking things out from the engine bay, Im taking them and stripping them down to bare metal, priming, and repainting...fun fun...trying to get the inside ready for a 302 so I dont have to do as much when I finally get it :thumbs2:

Ill talk to you all later

More updates on stuff.....got bored yesterday...these two things took a LOT longer then I thought, used a wire wheel and got them both down to bare metal...32 years of dirt and grime is NOT easy to get off, but the finished product was well worth it :D

I do have a quick question...the inlet for the breather goes to the front, I know that...but where does the port on the underside of it go?
