Yep that's what I did. I had ordered some for a heck of alot more from a Mustang supplier but they never sent them or charged me. I got the 15"...that's what mine had on it anyway (not that they were correct...they may have been off of a Mustang I had).

I bought a pair today at the local Orielly, I asked about how many were on hand, the computer showed 200 pair in the warehouse.

I got mine today. Very nice for the price. They will look much better than my black blades.

I think he meant he got refills for the stock blades. Refills aren't an issue as most any part stores carry them, the issue is where to get silver blades when ours are missing or broke.

So far I have found the options to be:

Buy metal new black metal blades....take the inserts out and paint the blades silver. About $6.00 each plus paint

Buy repro 16" blades for a 69-70 Mustang. About $40 and up

Buy the Trico 15" Classics for $7.99 each from Advanced Auto

Lol I never really thought about the correct terminology. I always called the assembly.....the arm, blade and insert. I guess the blade and insert are the same thing!

Anyway I got my "frames and blades" in the mail last night!
