New 2 core -three row aluminum rad

Champion is the manufacturer ,classic radiator is the internet sales company of Champion ,the price will be i believe a bit better on the forum than from the internet .Ill be talking to Cid tomorrow to confirm a date for the sticky ,i believe its still Jan 1 st 2009.I have arranged the sticky so i no longer have to be a go between for the rads as i was for about 40 or more of the last design,i told Cid i have a race car to build and two show cars to finish this year ,i just dont have the extra time .The last time i talked to Cid he told me the price will be cheaper and the rad will be better than the last one as they changed to a different and better manufacturer in China and there also buying more volume ,thus a better end price for us Maverick ,Comet folks.

I'll be buying one of those radiators soon.. Mine's pretty bad plus aluminum is pretty haha

Total came out to a tad under $250, they accepted my bid of $200. But won't be ready til Feb, I'll need it for the stop & go traffic in LA.

 

Looks like it's identical to the one I bought. Mine was 189.95 + 24.95 sh.
It's been busy and now it's cold so I have not had the chance to install it yet. Then all i'll be looking for is a shroud...

 

yea, I think it's the same exact one. I probably could have offered less & they would have accepted it.So where's a good place to find a shroud? what about those universal ones? (sorry to hijak)

2 core three row Aluminum rad

Ok folks i just talked with Cid Martin from Champion cooling , yes Blugene your rad is the same as the one that mashori just bought . Blugene the one you bought was a 1 of 10 that champion gave to a new supplier to start his bussiness going . Cid informed me via telephone that that price will never be available again and as for Mashori and his price this will also not happen anymore as of Feb/09. I also spoke to Cid about the fan shroud problem and if a member that lives close to Irvine,CA would drop off a maverick /comet v8 fan shroud or ship him one ,i can ship him one as i have a broken one ,but it would be much cheaper if a member from CA did it. (cracked/broken but complete) he would have his designers make a prototype out of Aluminum and carbon fiber mad out of China and see what goes from there. If someone is willing to do that a new fan shroud would be made for our cars . If anyone is willing to do this PM me and i will make this happen. James
