    Ok, mine has the body of a '77, the motor and tranny of a '72, and the VIN of a '70 (you can use the vin from another classic if yours doesn't have a usable one) so I voted 70 :cool:

    My Comet is a '72, My Maverick is a '75. These are all the parts cars;
    (2) '71 Grabbers
    '73 Grabber
    '75 4dr
    '74 4dr
    '74 Grabber
    '77 2dr
    '76 2dr
    '74 2dr
    '73 2dr LDO
    '74 2dr
    and there's a couple '71 or 72 Grabbers here that are not mine as well as a '73 Comet.

    So the moral of the story is that once the Maverick's bumpers got big....they didn't survive??

    I guess because they looked like everything else once they got fat bumpers. Glad I have a '71!

    my motor is from something in 68. my trany is 74. my interior is 69. and my car is 71. once the bumpers got big, lost interest. still dig these cars.
