I took the car to a few machanic shops and had them test it with some equipment to be sure. Every one of them concluded that it was a main bering going out. They said it may be more than one going but it is in the beginning stages of it. I am going to be doing a motor swap from the 250 to the 200 I have sitting here. Hence the reason I bought the car in the first place. I have had a lot of the machanics tell me that everything should just bolt right up, but I will have to see. I believe that the bellhousing is different from these two motors. However, I am willing to put the work into the car because the body is mostly straight along with a nice dark blue paint job. I refuse to put this car to death just because of a bad engine. Thanks guys for your advice. Ill keep ya posted on how the engine swap goes, might be a while down the road though.

Stay with it, you will not regrett it. My car was headed to the crusher, and I am glad I saved it. Good luck, let us know.

I just have to see if the 200 will work, I'd rather stay with the 250 because I dont have to change anything.
