Think that car would drive 600 miles?

    I didn't think the 250 was available with a 3 speed manual?

Today I finally got my refund for my grill that arrived broken, I have since repaired it with super glue, cant tell until you're less than a foot away. Used that money to order a jet kit for my holley and a power valve. Finished off recurving my distributor, and some shipping issues I had been having. Now its just a waiting game for a few pieces I need. Picked up some alum foil and acid to start the body work :D

I am going to ship your box tomorrow -- Sorry, I left the damn thing at home when I shipped out Brians stuff. I feel horrible!

    Please forgive me.

Just goes to show you that back in the day if you 'knew' someone you could get a car built exactly the way that you wanted. Would be interesting to get a Marti Report on the car. Could be a 1 of 1.

Its not a manual. Its a 3 speed auto with floor shifter.

I see that the car has an automatic in the floor shifter in it but in your earlier post (before you edited it) you said the data plate showed a code of '1' which is a 3 speed manual. IIRC the automatic trans codes are 'W' for a C4 and 'X' for a FMX.

Received my new Lokar throttle cable and brackets. Started to install it but I now have to figure out how to attach it to the pedal because the cable end is different then the Maverick cable. Have any of you ran into this problem? Also cut a patch to repair an area above my new right rocker.

I used the end off the stock cable (the part that slides off), and put it on the Lokar, works fine.

Hah! Sounds like me, The FedEx, UPS, and USPS guys are always excited to drop stuff off and come check the car out or curious as to what I ordered. Have ton of stuff coming from different people :) Have 4-5 packages should be delivered in the next few days.

I ran out to the garage really quickly to remove the skin off of the Grabber deck lid I got from the car I just cut up today. Placed it on the car, and will be making a new skin but incorporating the spoiler into the deck lid as one piece. Should come out pretty nicely :) I have to go to Seattle for work next week, so I may be able to get that done this week prior to the trip. Or it will have to wait until i get back at the end of the month.

This is what it should look like when I get done with it -- It will be roughly 1 1/4" shorter than the taped version.

Looks good, kinda rusty HAH! -- I will have this media blasted and powder coated matte black (inside only) and interior side will be painted body color.

    Little closer look

Excellent advice although extremely hard to follow!!!!

If you need a good lid I have an extra that's in nice shape. Any chance that parts car has A/C? I'd be more than interested in some trading and I have a way to get it to a business out on Trent.
