Sorry, I was thinking grabber orange and competition orange were the same. I am saying that my car is calypso or competition orange. I think I have it straight now.

1st image is a calypso coral car and the second is a grabber orange car. (competition orange IS close to/same as calypso coral)

My 71 Grabber has a DSO 71 (L.A.) without all that Cali stuff in the trunk ... I guess it was optional at the time ... Or was that just a 1970 thing?

I have only seen it on a 1970.

Hey jpollard....look up under the driver's rear quarter panel and look at that protective cover for the emmissions. Look at the top of the gas tank as well.

DM says 'thanks' for the compliment.
I told you to go to my website and look
at my old pics, look at DM's also.

This paint has lots of orange in it. As it
faded on the old enamel or single stage
paint it really did look orange.
Yours does not look different to me.

There is a removable panel up in there. Kind of neat looking.

The hub caps came with the car. Not sure if these were an option or if someone put them on...I imagine someone put them on. I am thinking of keeping them and painting the rims the same color as the car.

Anyone going to be in Montana soon? I need to show someone else this color for an opinion up close. I just got a new camera so I will try to take better pictures. Which ever color it is, I like it.

This car will be a restoration. It is going to be an easy one but I am going to drive it for a year or 2 before I start. Runs and drives great just need to get it sealed and get some interior in it for now.

I need to check into that panel Craig is talking about. I didnt notice it before, will a six pack fit in it?? :)

Let me know what Kelly finds for a code on the paint. I suppose 13 is probably a typo but I am going to make sure.
