Oh, whats the name of the junkyard?
RB trim code is the only way to tell a factory Sprint

Pull-A-Part. Next time I'm down there I think I'm going to ask them about buying the rolling shell of a car. They sell entire cabs, frames and stuff like that. Can't see why they wouldn't sell a body with suspension. Figgure I would strip most of the interior, doors, engine and trans, and all the parts that would need replaced anyways while it's in the yard. Who knows, can't hurt to ask.

    Couple comments:
Gently scratch some paint off the boomerangs.
My Sprint had them painted, but they were sparkling chrome under the paint.

Next: Do you still have the seatbelt light?
Mine is missing, it would be nice to have one from another Sprint.
I know there is no difference, but it would be like a family member donating an organ as opposed to a stranger. ;)

    What else is still available?
Sounds like the door panels are gone...

The light is in my '72 now. The one that was in there was super glued together and didn't light up. Door panels are still there. I never heard anything back from Don on them. Will be about $25 + shipping. You want them, send me a PM and we'll get the ball rolling.

Which Pull-A Part was that? Still want to swap doors? Are you busy today?

I finally had some free time today and went back down to look at them. Unfortunately some idiot tried to take them off, apparently didn't know what they were doing, and they ripped and destroyed them. :(

I took some pics of the car today. Real shame someone junked that car, well worth restoreing IMO. I found a For Sale note in it today, apparently someone tried to sell it for $700. I guess it didn't sell so they just junked it. I dare someone to call the number and ask them about the car. ;) The junkyard won't sell the body, so it's off to the crusher in a month or so. Kind of bitter sweet sometimes, get all these good parts, but you know thats one (or 5) less Mavericks/Comets left.

I did get an almost brand new starter off the car today for $7. It will be going on the part 200 part 250 engine I'm building for my '69.5. :yup:
