Actually the cobra and mach 1 firewall are different than the v6 or gt(unless part guy lied to me), I believe the bullit editions use the same as the cobra and mach 1 but to be fair i could of used any of them with same degree of success.

To be honest it was pretty strait forward.

Sorry no pics. and it did happen......

Believe it or not, I could care less.....:yup: I'll post pics when I'm ready peer pressure has no effect on me

I got the idea from a Torino owner.
    http://www.fordmuscle.com/forums/makin-progress/485929-twintorino-1968-torino-gts.html

So as you can see it can be done.....keep doubting if you want....like I said I could care less. I am building this car for me and me only.

I need to source a K member I like and some shock towers from a newer mustang or proceed with the Mustang II crossmember which I already have.....but in the name of being different I would prefer to use the newer stuff

The only deference is it was easier on the mav IMO as I just needed to fold the firewall a half inch each side and trium a few minor spots as the Torino needed to add a little.

Also I think MOdMov71 Travis is doing the same......

I also eliminated the wipers. I closed of the cowl vents in the cowl panel so it's smooth now. My cowl ducts were perfect too.....i thought they would be swiss cheese....

Thanks for the link.....Neat stuff I likethe adjustable struts!!!

I think using an after market sn95 mustang Kmember would work better as i can use a mustang rack etc.....and have correct geometry from the suspension to the engine.

manowar, i doubt youll answer this because you want to be unique but ill ask anyways.
is the spacing from the firewall to the centerline of the front wheels the same on the sn cars as our mavericks?
is the track width the same or can it work with a deep offset wheel?
