Turn signal stays on instead of blinking... what do I fix?

I picked up #FL32 from checker, will it work for the turn signals? here's a link;

I found one that could be it. Silver, located right above the e-brake handle, mounted verticle with the plug coming down from the top, except unlike the replacement I picked up it has a push-clip so that it snaps into a whole in a dash bracket... does that sound like the right one? I really do appreciate the help.

Wish I was able to give some help back to this board, it just seems like every time I see a question I know the answer to it has already been answered by somebody else...
