**** I forgot to mention I replaced the ground from the block to the battery and had to make a new body ground now it fires right up, and the brown wire has what used to be a stripe but idk the color, but it definitely comes from the alternator or goes to either way I only have the end that is at the alternator
I guess this thread is closed I opened the jacket on the harness far enough back to see that my 'brown' wire is stained it was white black stripe an that makes it the wire to the electric choke. I found the link to my wiring in a post by walkejf in another thread
