    Same here. I think my kids have a shot at being the first to drive my Comet out of the shop. I'll be too damn broken to turn the ignition by the time I finish it... lol

    me to, money is the reason i havent been able to mess around with my mav, i had dreams of a 450HP 331 stoker but now i'm just trying to build a 250HP 302/6.

    I Dont know if you know or not, But this is a REVERSE idle carb. In other words turning the mixture screw in (to the right) RICHENS the mixture. These were emissions minded carbs. They can be made to work very well if they are tuned rite.

    yeah i knew that i got the carb working months ago, but then one of the piston bores cracked.
