man ther'es nothing like the look and smell of fresh paint. car looks super, hope to see finished pictures soon.
I'm thinking grounding for static control ... Either that or an easy way to pull it out of the garage if needed?
I just wanna know why you lay on the floor? Is that a yoga preparation routine or something? And right after you wet down the floor too, you must get soaked LOL AC
your right about the chain for the static electricity. buddy of mine used to do that, but he painted in a dirty room. can't believe how good the cars came out. by the way that stallion looks sharp. if i keep seeing these great paint jobs i may have to get mine done.
Thanks for all the compliments everyone. Dale lays on the floor when he paints. That's the only way he can get enough paint on the bottom of the rockers. We did used the measurements from the pics you send us Dan. Thanks very much for your help with that. Taping it off for the two colors was a bear to do. Since the car was all one color when we got it, all I had to go on were pictures of other Stallions and memory. I hope I taped it right. I never thought about hanging a chain from the car to the floor. We'll have to try that next time. Our shop floor is so unlevel it's nearly impossible to not have water puddles laying around. That's why we put the cars up on truck jacks before they get painted. Dale couldn't resist buffing out one of the fenders just to see how it would look. It looks like a sheet of glass. Now I'm getting the itch to redo the 77' Maverick again. Man, this is addictive.
The car looks spectacular Jean. Looking at those pics makes me want to turn my black Mav into a Stallion clone... Sam
