    Disco is fun!

    :bananaman I was sitting at a red light in my Explorer Tuesday blasitng "Funky Town" from a Disco CD. The people next to me asked me to crank it LOUDER until the light green. They said it was good to here that song again. We had fun! I didn't even know the people. Disco was fun. Still is!

    hanging the mirror ball brings back bad memories! my brother and sister couldn't afford a mirror ball so they covered me in elmer's and glitter and made me turn in circles on the coffee table while they took turns shining a flashlight on me!

    I still have the tan shag carpet in my 73 Comet LDO/GT. It's in mint condition, so I won't change it. Besides, it goes real well with the disco music blasting "YMCA".....I sing that song at karaoke & everyone knows the words & the dance.....Gets everyone up out of there seats.....Those where the days......I must be getting old!!!

    :tsk: nah i wasn't sayin sammy IS metal, i was talkin bout that song called heavy metal (think it's from the movie heavy metal). i wouldn't misdiagnose sammy as metal. just rock

    and yes the world may be coming to an end. mavericks are "in". i don't care, at least i'll have fun with the mav until it does.:cool:
