If you want a really good shock get a set of KYBs' or Bilstiens... otherwise get some Gabriel or Monroe regular duty shocks. They are inexpensive and will do you just fine untill you hop that puppy up.

Unless you get into serious performance shocks you wont be getting adjustable ones. The manufacturers I have listed offer replacement shocks for our cars that require you to simply bolt them in.Length of shocks wont be an issue if your suspension is stock. As far as Rebound and compression rates for shocks... those are preset when the shock is built and require no adjustment. When you get into road race/drag race and high performance driving then you would use adjustable ones.Edelbrock makes some as well as QA-1,Moroso.KYB and Bilstien and Rancho. Some make adjustable and double adjustable shocks as well..

Have a GOOD jack and GOOD jack stands available as well as a good assortment of sockets/ratchet and wrenches.Really isnt much to removal other than the potential rusty fasteners...NeVer work under the car with out jackstands under it!!! properly placed to support the car.ALLWAYS use jack stands...sorry... cant stress it enough.Go slow be deliberate and patient as well as observant of what you are doing.
    Have fun!!!

Shure!!! not a difficult task to accomplish. The old end links may be an sob to remove if they are rusty.Get some penatrating oil like PB Blaster or Kroil and soak all the fasteners up the day before you tear it all apart. It will help...

New shocks will help ALOT but, loose and wobbly makes me wonder if you have other problems with the front suspension.if the car is just "bouncy" yeah the shocks will do yah.If you need front end parts IE:Ball joints/tie rod ends the shocks wont do much for you.

I have a question for you.For clarity, you were referring to the sway bar bushings when you said bushings...right?? I ask because all the other bushings on the suspension are a PITA without the proper tools.

OH ok.. your car will have a front sway bar(no rear)Urethane sway bar bushings are a good idea and pretty simple to do.Like I said...all the other ones are a PITA.
