subwoofer in trunk?

    Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
    nope nothing wrong with it in the trunk unless your amps catch on fire but that can go for anything thats in your trunk like lights and what not.

    i also had two 12 inch kickers pros in the back of my maverick since the late 80's... used the dimentions 36x13x13 in a sealed box. fits right between the trunk lid supports. tested in competition @ 136 dbs.. and yes im deaf now! huh? what? you say something?

    but just a suggestion to you.... your sound will sound better with the speakers facing the rear of the car... trust me on this one been there done that!

    thing is now i pulled the box and all my amps out last year to lose the weight... got all the stuff in my daily driver now besides you can't even hear the bass with how loud the exaust is. thats why all the stereo stuff is in the newer car.. less rattle and cleaner sound... besides my chevy is slow so i need the tunes in it to make up for the sloweness!
