    Yes it is "painted"...I ask him sbout it and he stated it was some kind of special coating, I do know it resist carb cleaner, I sprayed it with it to see if the coating came off and it stayed on, wish I knew what it was, at any rate as long as the carb does what I want, I don't care what it looks like.....well I wouldn't want it pink! :hide:
