    the guy also mentioned that he had a 3 carb set-up for the car as well. it was a very sharp ride!

    There's nothing for me to "get over" and I have no problem with anyone liking sixes. No need for you to get defensive about it. I just stated a fact; that the Maverick six is not a high-performance engine...period. If you like them anyway, that's fine.

    Some of you guys keep bringing up the 300 six; well that's not what "Max" was asking about and no Maverick ever came with one. We should compare "apples to apples".

    I had a Comet with a 250 I-6, so I know what the heck I'm talking about...
