Steel wheels and unsprung weight...

    So uhhhhhh, I guess Im going to run steel wheels for now :D I may get an extra back set and mount some quick times or et streets on it for the track. I dont think I care about squeezing every last ouce of performance out of the car enough to run skinnies on the front. I thought I wanted to, but I just dont think I will be happy with the handling of a skinny on the street. OTOH, if I go to the track with steel wheels and runn an 11.0, I may just have to beg/borrow a set of welds and try for 10s :D

    The biggest problem I have with narrow Welds on the front is that around here,where some of the roads are less than perfect(read-potholes)is they are VERY easily bent.Just my 2 cents if you're going to drive it alot.

    Hey! I just changed my mind again! :D :D Surprised? I found a place that sells the late model bullet wheels with a 4.5" BS. That means cool wheels with no spacers! I figure black center bullets on a black Mav would look pretty good. Plus they are aluminum, and not skinny...
