Yeah, it sure was a good time with other Maverick and Comet owners. I'm not much of a car show guy, but I'm sure glad I participated. It was great that Cliff, Coop and Sierra Grabber (is it Dave?, bad memory with names) were able to come down...it made the experience much cooler for me. Hope you guys had memorable vacations. Sorry I missed the BBQ. Bob, I look forward to chatting with you at the Good Guys Nitro Nationals if possible. I met you very briefly last year at the Knott's show. Hey maybe we could BBQ in the Pomona parking lot on Friday or Sat with Rocky and maybe Maverick Man (who might race)? Do they allow that?
i think you were stealing ideas snooping around but dude no worry on asking questions dude... i get like e-mails every other day with people asking maverick questions! or maybe you did ask me something and didn't say who you were as for gas i'll take 2.85! i gotta put 91 on my everyday car and the cheapest i've seen it is $3.08. Yen!
I'm glad you showed up, even though you aren't a car show guy. It was great to meet you. I really was impressed with your Maverick. I'm glad you participated. I had a great vacation. The highlite being the Knotts show. I like getting together with other Maverick/Comet people. They don't need to have a show car. I tell them that, all the time here in Washington. I just want a big turnout. What the car looks like, is of no concern. Tell everyone it's a project car (what do they know?). Hopefully we can do it again next year. If not, I'll try for the Reno roundup... Erick, you missed a great BBQ.
Nitro Nats will be great. How we gonna get a BBQ in a Maverick? Derrick racing? Hey we have standards at Goodguys ya Know. Seriously. Ya gotta run 12.99 or faster for the slowest class. I'll be there talkin up a storm. I have a low et mouth
