So.Cal. Back to Skool Mini Meet?

    Ok you So. Cal. guys and gals, Mavericks are missing from a lot of car events here, so why don't we have a local mini gathering or meet? Nothing formal mind you, just a gathering for a burger and shake along with some bench racing.

    Here are a few suggestions:

    1. Irwindale Drag Strip on a Wendsday night
    2. Twilight Cruz at NHRA Motorsports Museum, Pomona, in September
    3. The last original Bob's Big Boy in Toluca Lake/Burbank on a Saturday night when the car hops are working.

    Ok, these are my suggestions, wadda you think?

    Oh and By the way, how many Maverick people do we have here in So.Cal.?

    That would be cool too. We just need to figure out where. Once we get enough replies, then I can pick a center point for all of us and go from there.:bananaman

    Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
    i'm down fo nhra in the next few week at the museum.. i'm gonna try to get off. i can see if i can get a few more out that day.. thing is you need to be there at 4:00 cuz there are way to many people there and wont beable to park next to each other
