I have a brand new HP computer (which is smokin' fast compared to the 7-year-old Windows 98 unit that I finally just retired), IE, and broadband cable access. I have noticed that at the change of the hour, sometimes this board slows to a crawl for me. I am primarily online early AM, so I wrote it off as a board maintenance issue.

The ads on the forum are served from googlesyndication.com and if the ad server is slow, it will increase the time it takes to load the board. I browse the board with the ads being displayed and have on occasion had to wait for the ad server to complete the ad request.
