I'm in. Gonna get there 1.5-2.5 hours early and hang out. Getting a lift down on a trailer. Only thing of concern is the braking. At this power & speed level (with the sauce on)...the old drums are downright scary when I throw out the anchor. Let's hope for the best.

 

They have a nice long shutdown run. Drums spooked me pretty good last year too.

 

Acknowledged. Those SS brake conversions are looking pretty good.

 

Yes, the disc brakes are the best investment I've made on the old Comet....I'm off tomorrow. You can stop by my place if you want, on your way to the track. Or I'll meet you there....call me!
