If somebody would like to donate a Comet GT hood and grill and some nice Rear Louvers I'll get started on one! :)

Thanks, now I know wtf you people are talking about.

Visually, I'm not terribly impressed. I've never liked those retarded looking scoops that are present on that hood separate from what looks like the standard comet GT scoop. To mee, it looks like they took side mirrors and glued them to the hood. The rear spoiler on the trunk top doesn't follow the flow of the car like the grabber's and looks flat and useless. Finally, I've never been a fan of those rear windshield visor thingies.

Hackman's maverick looks WAY better than that beast.

The seperate scoop you are refering to is a hood mounted tachometer.
Keep in mind the nice thing about our hobby is you can build your car the way you like it!

If I had an all out race car (or ford shelby of any kind at that) I wouldn`t mind having the hood mouted tach , its a realy good way to keep you`r eyes on the road and RPMs .

I must say, the comet grille looks better with a Maverick bumper....

Has anyone figured out for sure that it is a Maverick front
    bumper?

Hey, Doug. Go out on your back porch and yank a bumper
off of a '70-'72 Maverick and see if it will fit on a '72-'72
Comet without gaps or conflicting with the grill.

He'll be right back. He has four or five between his back door and
    the tomato plants.
