Hey Terry, thanks for the seat. (y)

I had to drill 2 new holes to get it to fit, the front holes were about a inch off on each side, but it fits great otherwise.

I'll be crusin' in the Mav tomarrow. (y)

cdeal, email me some pictures of the seats. I might be intrested for my F250. milescrew@yahoo.com

Jamie, did you notice an extra set of holes in my floorboard? I just took the seat of the '77 and put in a seat from 69.5 model, and it was a direct fit.

LOL ... but Terry is right ... any Maverick bench should be a direct bolt in for any year Maverick ....

Well I don't know... but it wouldn't fit. I tried every way I could to get it to line up but it wouldn't. I pulled the carpet back and there was no holes for the front.

Anyways, it's in with minimal blood loss.

Well crap, there were holes that it fit in! I had the back 2 bolts in the wrong holes I guess. :slap:

Now it sits even better. I'll just get my dad to spot weld the holes I drilled and the other 5 holes someone has drilled in an attempt to get some seat to fit I guess.

Jamie; I know from where you speak! I had about 20 or so holes in my car when I got it, from different seat attempts. Welding them up was a day long affair. Good luck!

Terry, they are giving us a run around over getting registration/plates. We have tried everyday this week so far without success to get plates. The car has had insureance on it for several weeks now. Monday we had the title problem that we talkd to you about. Tuesday, we go to get plates to find out the insurance company screwed up, the VIN starts with 4W93L (off the top of my head) and they put 4W931 instead of 93L on the insurance card, so it wasn't in the Georiga "system" and we have to get either a binder saying that there is a problem with the VIN, or get new insurance cards. Called the insurance company, they fax us a binder for the VIN. Go yesterday to get the plates again, the insurance company didn't add the corrected VIN to the Georgia "system" yet, and without it in the system they cannot accept a fax of the binder, it has to be real if the car isn't in the system.

I wish these people would quit screwing arond and get it together. We are walking a fine line right now as far as the home owners association goes, and until it has a plate, I'm not sure what they can do. Today we are going to give it another shot...

Well, they still haven't put the corrected VIN # in the Georgia system.

It's depressing to work on a car this much and get this close to being able to drive it, and have to go around and around with it like this because the insurance company put ONE wrong character in the VIN.

If we don't get it tomarrow, we'll have to wait till Monday. :(
