OK I got the pics and the measurements. I cut 1 1/2" off the outside tube and 3 1/2" off the inside tube. Here are the pics of the install.

I am a long way from driving it. My 6 month project has turned into the marathon project, going on 4 years now. But even without the power steering pump it seems to steer pretty well with 26X8X15" tires on it.
My mav steered like a dream after the cavalier install, so nice and solid. Gone are the wandering and constant wheel wagging, and NO more leaks!! Well worth the time and effort!!
