i just spent about 400 on rebuilding my rear end.. i bought a richmond gear set from summit.. a rebuild kit that had all the bearings, and i bought 2 qts of the richmond synthetic gear lube..

i had to pay a shop to press the bearings, and the axle bearings that summit sent me were the wrong ones so i had to buy new axle bearings.

in case you were wondering.. i got 4.11 gears and a mini spool and mine is an 8".. i never rebuilt a rearend before in my life and i did this one and it is easy.. as long as you have a dial indicator to set the backlash
