Car originally had a B2 in it. Guy in Alberta bought it for the engine. He pulled it & sold the car to another fellow, that put a 302w & T-5 in it. This next guy had a heart attack, so was selling the car. I had been searching for it as I missed the sale while it was in the States. Bought the car, knowing where a B2 was sitting. Only drove the car maybe 100 miles ? Before pulling all the 302w etc out. B2 Engine went to Mascar in CA. Bored .020 over & new 10.5:1s. New rods & crank - stroked to 347. Heads all new stainless valves & hardened exhaust seats & new guides. New springs & retainers. Heads already had comp cam 1.7 roller rockers. Going to duno it with the new E-BOSS Edelbrock intake topped off with a Holley 750 double pumper/mechanical. Cam is a custom grind roller HYD. I asked for a min. 450 HP Target is 400+ at the pavement. When the 302w was in it, me, a full tank of gas, it came to 2700 lbs I should be able to trim that weight if I can stay away from beer
Track only car? 450 should have been easy with a 347 and those heads. Can't wait to see how you do at the track. Do you run 1/4 mile Reeves?
Street/strip. Haven't been on a track since the 70s ! Will be back on one, after the car is back together/done. Lots to do after the engine is back. (ie: $)
