    Looking good!

Got a question for you .... was that trans crossmember and poly trans mount made to work together? The reason why I ask is that I tried to install a poly mount in with my C4 and stock crossmember, and the only ones available (this was a long time ago) turned out to be too tall. You may want to look at the tailshaft angle to be sure it is OK.

I can't mount the steering rack as I am using it's mount points for the rack the car is mounted on. It looks like I will be ok there though.

I am buying 13" brakes for the car from ECI here in CT. I am really good friends with the owner there, a fellow hot rodder. He tells me with his brakes I will not even need a booster anyway.

I purchased the crossmember from 71Gold here on the forum. He says to use a C4 mount with it. I am not sure if there is a height difference between it and a stock rubber one? good question though.

I wonder, does anyone here on the forum have a stock C4 mount that they can measure how tall it is?

I'm using the same transmission mount and isolator (and have checked the angle) I totally forgot about where they hit the floor, took me awhile to figure out what that noise, and strange vibration was...

I wud stay w/ the EFI and cover the wiring as best I cud. Great looking work! I don't really think these cars need the pwr booster w/ disk brakes or disk/drum.

I would like to thank all of you that have taken the time to post up encouragement as well as the many pm's I have received in the past month or so from many of you with similar encouragements and compliments on my project. It truly means a lot!

Today I have decided it was time for a mental health day. I haven't even looked outside. I figure that I have been working five days a week for my regular job, then all day Saturday and Sunday in the garage since before Christmas. It was time for a day to relax and spend time with my wife and two girls. I will be back at it full steam ahead during the week.

    Thanks again,
    Glenn

Enjoy the time, my wife and two girls left as soon as I got home from coffee, this morning. So I enjoyed the day grinding...(not really, I hate grinding, more heat, less wire) :D

    Power windows!!!

Today I received the box from Nu-Relcs with the reworked regulators. I put on in the car and it works great!!!!!:yahoo:

To remind everyone I had Nu-Relics make power window regulators for my Maverick. When I got them they wouldn't quite fit in the car as the power motor hung too low for them to bolt in correctly. They jumped at the chance to make it right for me. They even offered and paid for the return shipping charges to get the parts back to them!

One week later and today I received the box with the two new regulators. I took the passenger one out and it bolted right in place. Just like I expected/hoped it would. I connected the wiring as directed and put power to it and it goes up and down real nice!

Here are a few pictures for you all to see as well as a quick video to see it in operation. It sounds loud when it bottoms out, but I was standing in the garage all by myself and was close to the door. I don't think it will be bad at all once mounted, with glass installed and all rubbers etc.

    And here we go....

I can see where I will have to raise the stopper a little bit so the widow bar is not hitting the motor. But it will work just fine!

My oldest daughter asked me why I was making such a strange noise, while watching the video...(y) I don't know how to type such excitement! I've got to order a set, but I made a large deposit at the local speed shop this afternoon...
