I'd walk up to him with 15 100 dollar bills right after he paid his mortgage, then drive off with it.:D

Considering it's in Grimsby, which is not far from where I or Daydreamer live...
I would be really surprised if it was an original Ontario car, and if it was I doubt it's solid underneath, very few cars of that age, even stored for many many years just don't last around here, it would have been driven in some kinda weather at some point in it's life.
As for the tinted windows they do nothing for the car, along with the fog lights, yuck!!
It's hard to tell anything from those pictures, I don't see any rust on the tail light panel. I'd be interested if you get anymore information on this car, even if it is a Comet. :D

Yea, but your talkin a 71 grabber to a plain Comet(but nice)
I don't feel the front seat would be bad though. I think the seat cover on there is just keepin it nice.;)

I dont thik it came out right, what I was trying to say is if I found a perfect grabber for 3k, then the comet isnt worth too much.

Just like Dave said though. These cars are just not around here,i can't even find parts cars for crying out loud! My car came from South Carolina and i had a Canadian Comet before only 23,000 miles on it,looked real good on the out side but the underneath was totaled even the firewall had rust holes in it.Needless to say that was the most expensive parts car i ever bought. So i do see where alot of you guys are coming from but we have to pay some pretty high prices for cars. For what alot of you guys would pay for a decent 60's Mustang we get a alright Fairmont for that

Well from just going by the pics, and if under the car is clean, I would say about $4500.00. (y)
But I really think that these cars are undervalued both mav's and comets. There really isn't much of these cars out on the road, like other cars.
But what would people pay if it was complete clean car?
It it was clean, i think it could go for $8000.00 or so. That is if it is a v8!
