    Or this...

I bet that it is the same color that came on
Boss cars. It seems like it was 'Bright Gold Metallic'.

Dan; the 2000 Taurus had a Chesnut Metallic that was killer. See if you can find the code, and you would love it. The car had a tan interior.

I second Jamie. Tan is one of the few colors they still use on new cars interior. Sounds like some good suggestions so far though. Maybe a dark blue?

Way back when the Mustangs the Playboy Bunnies used to drive were painted Pink. I kind of doubt they ever drove Mavericks though. Yeah, pink would look yucky on a Maverick. The only Mavericks I remember seeing with tan interiors were white, green, silver, tan, and a dark brown. Actually, the brown was a sort of dark, coppery ( is that a word? ) metallic and it looked real good with the tan seats.

LOL ... no practice thanks! I painted a 73 Maverick Grabber Blue about 12 years ago so now I'm rested up enough to do another. :) Took a body and paint class at a local tech school before I did it. Getting use of the shop isn't a done deal yet but I should know by next week. I'm gonna do the engine/tranny swap first and hopefully have everything done by the end of June ... Think I'm just gonna do a base/clear of the original Yellow so I don't have to worry about the jams. Don't need a show car but want to get rid of all the dings, dents and trim ... plus the paint is pretty thin on the car because the original paint had oxidized pretty bad and a lot of it buffed off.

:drink: Black and tans are very tasty:drink:

I would have to agree with rootbeer. I think Chrysler had it on their Intrepid/Concorde a few years back,(sorry about the Mopar reference).

House of Kolor has a nice looking Kandy Rootbeer, depending on ground coat, but it would probably be a little on the expensive side.

Even dark green metallic would go with tan int.

I still like 2005 Mustang Yellow, close to the original with more pop to it!

BTW Dan, If you were going to change the color my 73 4dr LDO has the tan interior and the exterior color code 5H-Medium Brown Metallic, looks great in my opinion.

Um...Hot Wheels :hmmm: Anyway Dan, I kinda like the color the car is now, but if you were to change it, I'd vote green.
