it is ...too....shiny for that price...he to me is showing twice the car for half the price. i had he rather ask $7500 and let me talk him down to $4500.
does anyone else see what i am saying?

does :anyone: live in the area that could look at the car and
    give a ...(y) or down?

At first glance I thought maybe the hood bumper just needed to be adjusted to brint the front of the hood a little higher on the driver side but looking at the body line between the hood and the top of the fender, it does appear that there me be a little worse problem. It almost looks as if the hood may be slightly buckled but that could be an illusion. Then I also noticed the left front bumper guard has been pushed toward the outside of the car. You can see the gap between the guard and the bumper. Also, the rear bumper is twisted upwards on the right rear. It looks as if the bumper is touching the rear quarter extension and there should be about a 3'4" gap there. Could be just minor adjustments but I would certainly have to see this car in person before making a commitment. As some have pointed out, a lot of money has been spent on this car with some very nice touches and if you are prepared to spend more money just in case some of the issues that have been discussed turn out to be rear problems, then by all means, go for it. I think the car looks sharp and I really like the interior.
Something you might want to consider...a pre-purchase inspection. I work part-time for a company doing auto appraisals and I do lots of appraisals of this type for this exact situation...to keep people from making bad investments on cars they can't inspect in person before they buy.
Now I'm sure I am way too far away from this car to inspect it for you but our company has agents all over the country so there may be one fairly close to the car. They do have a set rate for this type of appraisal plus mileage so location would have a lot to do with the cost. Please pm me if you would like more info on this.
Whatever you do, please understand that we are all here for you guys...we are trying to help you get the best car for the best price.
Good luck in whatever you do! :yup:

I think it encountered something at one time...unless parts were taken off to paint or something. Kinda like the rear panel, looks like it's not fastened correctly, but kinda hard to tell.

personally i think it's hard to tell from pictures. a lot has to do with the angles the pics are taken from etc. i think you really need to see the car in person. hate to say it but that's just a part of doing business on the internet these days. you see a lot more cars, but to get the right one you need to be willing to travel a bit. or you need to wait for one closer if you can't find someone to look at it for you. or last option is, like ray said, hire someone to do an inspection. good luck.:)

Is it just me or does something not seem right here? This guy is a car dealer. Look at the other stuff he hs listed. He KNOWS the value of vehicles. $4500 is far from cheap but that car looks very nice. It should be going for more with that type of engine, and the look of the car. I would take everyones advice here and take a trip to see it in person. If not you may risk getting into something you will regret later. Ask all the guys here about me. It's been over a year and a half and I'm still looking for the right car. Other things have factored into me not buying yet (major, costly repairs to my daily driver) but ultimately I'm trying to be patient and get the right car. I don't think it will take you that long but be a little more patient so that you can get what YOU want and can be happy with it. Something just doesn't sit well with me about that one. It looks great but unless the dealer is a total idiot I think it should have been priced higher. Hope this helps...:tiphat::cheers:

Maybe it's just me and you since noone else has commented on it but unless I saw it in person and had it inspected by a mechanic or the company Ray suggested I wouldn't touch it. As pretty as it is something isn't right about the looks versus the price. This guy is a dealer and knows how much it's worth. Something must be wrong with it to fetch such a low price. We've seen them in that shape get a whole lot more. Maybe they might just get a great deal and if this guy wasn't a dealer I would say go for it. Since it is a dealer it makes me wonder why he would be selling it for such a low price. Take a trip out there and have it inspected and if both come back clear then jump on it. It just worries me that the pretty paint job and interior are hiding something ugly and possibly costly repairs. Who knows though you guys may just be lucking out and getting the deal of the century. Also check out some of the ads I post. If you are willing to travel that far for a vehicle then some of the ones I post might be better deals and better cars.

That does seem awfully cheap for a car that appears to be that nice. That car is not real far from my office, but I have been buried lately and I don't know if I could get away long enough to give it the kind of checking out that it needs in this case. I did think that the reflection looked wierd in the pic of the passenger fender right behind the bumper, like it was not straight - maybe it's an illusion. The passenger quarter don't look very straight either.

If you look at the picture, the right fender is sitting a little low, but thats all just adjustment, maybe the bolt is missing thats in the door jam? and someone leaned on it? Those seats are kinda funky, anyone know what there out of? they look familiar but I can't seem to place them?

They remind me of the seats from the early 90's Honda Prelude.

Sabrina, What was the verdict on this car? We haven't heard the good, bad and the ugly yet. :thumbs2:
