Just curious how much you paid for it? I have the opportunity to pick up a 71 Grabber, 302 -3pd floor shift with buckets. Body is nicer but engine is blown up. Not sure what it's worth but it needs a total restoration as well.

paid 700 for it ..and to some thats to much but to me it worth it the hood has no holes the seats look like the stiching just came apart every thing works even the key buzzer did till i unpluged it:clap: so going to need 2 fenders to start so if anyone has some parts to sale ;)
going to do most of the major body work with the engine in so i can move it around easy....was going to take it to the roundup but dont know

Dave, now that you got it running, do want to sell it back? :D j/k I am glad to see you approach this car with such enthusiasm!!! It was great to hear that you had it on the road already, and the tranny etc. is working. I know, with all the irons in my fire right now, I wouldn't have gotten to this car for another 2-3 years, and hopefully by then you will have that project pretty much on it's way vs. just being started. (y)

Looking forward to your updates! As I mentioned, maybe down the road sometime, I can come down and help you turn a wrench on it!

    Good luck on the project.

Is there a Grabber registry? Maybe all of us that have Grabbers should start one if it dosen't allready exist. That cars has a lot of potential.

Is that the car with the six digit DSO indicating a Special Order? That color combo is advertised in the 72 brochure. I thought I read somewhere that color combo was a special order 1971 with a 1972 color combo ...

I called them yesterday, and they said they were still working on it. I am hoping by the end of next week I will have it.
