    Thanks yellow75, i agree ,you know ive learned so much from this forum that im sure i can answer most questions asked ,the weather is going to be perfect, 90 f with a light wind. Im setting up a little decor of maverick memorabilia ,models ,fresh cherries grabbers ,johnny lightning ect some pictures and of course bring along my Maverick Jacket.Im going to have a great time , cheers all, it will be judged by Judges and a peoples choice .

    Car Shows...good subject..
    yesterday i overheard two guys talking about all the shows they had been to and how they always got ripped off at awards time...one guy said he raised so much hell that they sent him a trophy in the mail. not one show did they talk about having a good time..."they were all rigged so everyone else could win"...:yup:
    for all that have seen my car know ...i go for the fellowship... i enjoy myself more than all the ones that come for the awards...:Handshake
    even the ones that win complain about how small the trophies are.

    I have won a lot of awards with my car and it's cool if they call your name out to receive one in the end. Where I have the most fun though is hanging around my car and getting to talk to people when they stop by. It's like Frank said, the fellowship is what it should be about. Everybody that stops by has their own Maverick stories and if you're not there you don't get to hear them. I have heard some good ones and some rediculous ones but I have enjoyed every single one. You always hear, Wow!!! I haven't seen one of these in years!!! Then the good ones follow that. Just go and have a good time and if you win an award consider it a bonus for all your hard work! Pretty soon you'll be wondering what to do with all of the awards you have accumulated. (y)

    WOW is this ever a cool subject! What is really cool is last week @ our local car show we had people all pi$$ed off about where they were classed. Soo, they let them move (all three of them) and guess what they didn't win a thing. They were ALL about trophys and went home without. Enjoy the show & please don't get hooked on winning it ruins all the fun of it. Good Luck!
