Washers. I used a lot of washers and a bolt that was too long. I have less than a 16th of an inch of clearance and it is right on my dipstick tube but it's a good feeling to be able to turn the key and it starts and runs.

I am using a GM 10SI 3 wire and it works like a charm. Big red to the battery, "B" to the ALT light wire and "A" looped to the big red. Easy.

Same here, I have spacers behind the brackets. Use a straight edge between the pulleys to check alignment.

I cut a piece of tubing for the spacer. It's exactly 1 inch long.

I'm using a piece of 1/2" plastic hot water pipe for a spacer. Really. Works fine.

I used the factory bracket. My alternator is off of a 1978 Chevy van that had been sitting for at least 10 years. It took some shimming and some washers but it fit with very little room to spare and it works perfectly.
