One owner 1971 Maverick Grabber

I remember when they first decided to sell the car. They had emailed me about it as well. Glad it went to a good home.

I'd like to see some close ups of the name plaque inside. That would be a cool thing to make or have made. I know this topic has been brought up before and that was the thoughts then. Maybe a pic or two and some measurements along with a brief description of the materials used would be cool. It would give me something to do over the winter when I don't feel like working outside on the Maverick or my wife's project Opel.

I'll take more pictures soon - including a close up of the dash plaque. I've never seen a dash plaque in person either until now. How many years did they put dash plaques on custom ordered cars?

I don't remember getting an email about it, they called me probably a little less than 1.5 years ago. A month or two later I drove to Topeka and looked at it. We worked out a deal, but she wasn't ready to sell yet and they said they would call when they were ready. It was a little difficult for her to sell, which I can understand - she owned the car for 37 years.

Gary - this is the car I've been talking about waiting on for the last year or so.

 

Randy you need to update you vehicle list.

gotta love those reflective stripes and I bet that Red interior on a red Grabber is a pretty rare color combo.. Most Red Grabbers I have seen have the black interior or the black with red inserts.
