you know, there is nothing wrong with buying a wilwood part. Might be the first of many...

And I know it works, thanks to dave.

got the wilwood in my "shopping cart". Do I need, or would I even benefit from the extra proportioning valve?

I cannot see that there will be many pics of the installation. What is it? 2 bolts, then 2 bolts, the re-bleed? I might take a pic of my first WILWOOD sitting in the engine bay, but I doubt there will be installation pics.

I bought one, and it's still in the package, I used the stock drum/drum proportioning valve.
I looked around quite a bit before I bought mine, I even set up a Geo Metro booster, but decided on the Wilwood alone. Like I said, I bought their adjustable proportioning valve, just in case. But once I got the car together, I stomped on the brakes, and they work awesome, I even use silicon brake fluid, which a lot of people say "gives you a soft pedal". But I don't notice any difference.
I do think it's way better than the stock one ever was, back when I would race on Fridays nights, I'd have 2 feet on the brake pedal to stop, but I doubt I'd ever have to do it with this Wilwood.

ah come on pics make every post beter. well how about pics taken by the spectators watching you work on your car. there should be some great ones of you all twisted up trying to get that clip off that holds the pedal onto the push rod. you could do a tech artical on its installation showing the adaptor fittings and how to bleed the brakes. maybe even shoot a video with the hat cam as you do the install. we could see how the exhast sounds before the wilwood m/c and after it that way. ah come on im just jonesing for more pics. thow a guy a bone.

I ordered it, but I got it in the shinier model for an extra $30. It is the same model, but polished aluminum. I want something that wipes clean easily, and doesn't have any paint to melt off.

I skimped out on the proportioning valve, as it can be added later if needed.

For not being "into all that fancy stuff", your car sure looks a lot more fancy than mine(y)
