I am not sure how to find the second wire(nuetral). maybe it will read as hot too. My schematic shows two wires labeled as light blue/ red stripe. i think there were 4 rust or brown colored wires involved, my back is a little out or i would go look for you. its my son's car and right now it is very faded green with a lot of primer spots since we are about to paint it dark green. its a 4 door 1975 mav. he is often out at 75-80 running street class if he has nothing better to do.
Found it! Well, it is on the column. Just inside the dash, top of column. This is great because the terminals are bare, thus you can test the wires easily. Just test the (RED-blue)wire as you crank the engine.Cut the wire and attatch both ends to the new switch. It's really a simple job and well worth the effort, for SAFETY's sake.
