Allan, what problems aren't I having?
It takes forever to start, like there's no fuel in the line, the choke won't adjust right (new carter carb). It runs rough not matter what, new timing chain and all, and it toasts plugs. I've tried adjusting the timing many times and I'd have to set it so far back that it takes forever to get going. Consequently, it "diesels" when I turn it off from the hot spots on the pistons. The output shaft (I think) on the trans is worn out, so it clunks hard when shifting (new u-joints, yes). The head leaks oil, motor burns oil, etc, etc............ I just want to tear it out and put this v8 in!

Good luck on getting it done.
There is only one down side to coming to the Round-up without your car :D its painful  but the upside is; One hell of a great time and it is good motivation to stay the course and git-r-dun!
