    Yep you never know. Dont judge a book by its cover sort of thing. Had a guy out of Niagara Falls use to come to our grudge nights at the track with his blown Camaro. It looked and sounded nasty but he never made a full pass at full throttle something always crapped out or back fired. Never saw that car break out of the 13 second range.
    I'm sure the Mav will go like hell though when you get it all set up. Great looking and sounding car.

    Yeah, and 95% of the cars on this forum wouldn't break out of the 13 second range, either.:rolleyes: :biglaugh:

    I ran basically the same setup in a 71 datsun 240z. Because of the rotors in the blower it would throw all the fuel to the back of the motor so the rear would run rich during idle. I dont know if you have tried it, but ours seemed to run better when we turned down the rear carbs idle screws and opened up the front carbs. I also heard the idle surge your getting, you can get this to stop by drilling out the idle air holes slightly larger.

    Looks good, great job on the car.
