I gotta hand it to ya Tim, looks sweet! You're making me wanna steal your design for mine.....but I won't. Talked to my better half about Virginy in June....we came to the conclusion that it's either that or Carisle in June....too far and costly for both, not to mention getting off work. Got some major work to do on "the beast" too before I come. Later....D

    Tim...

...I looked for repops of those armrests a couple of years
ago when I got that console. I was told that it was not
being reproduced, yet. I still haven't seen any.

Mine was blue. I used a satin or sem-flat dye in a rattle
can and it turned out pretty well except for the armrest.
They are some type of foam rubber and being porous
they suck up the dye. I am thinking about having my
    upholstery shop cover mine.

You can have that clock fixed, don't trash it. I have seen
these consoles parted out selling the shifter plate, console,
    and body separate.

There are some repro parts for the 69-70 consoles.

    Looks great! (y)

The console sure does add something to car, too bad Ford didn't put a console in the Mavericks/Comets vs. the consolette.

    update

    Hey fellas
To give you a update on what i did where the clock was on the console. I took the guts out of the clock and put a single bulb in it and then after seeing BMcdaniels post on the remotes I decided to get one of those also for night time cruise-ins.Will be so cool to be able to turn it on when people look in the interior and wonder what kind of car it is. I know Y'all understand how that goes. Anyway this is what they will see in the console :D
