The sky's pretty much the limit, Matt. It's up to your imagination, and wallet, what you want to do to the 4 door. I always wanted to have a patrol car and did it..with my 4 door. They actually offered them as a patrol vehicle so it's not a figment of anyone's imagination. Chuck Stalnaker did his as an unmarked vehicle, but with a more modern flare. The 4 door has been a bit maligned by some, but it's a great vehicle especially for a driver. The passengers will appreciate the increased room in the back.

Wes I have always been a cop car fan. I would really love to see pics of your car. I too have always wanted to own an x patrol car. One though I had for my Comet at one time, was to do something like the little Falcon Interceptor of Mad Max. Not going to go that way, but if you look at those cars and the vintage they are. They share allot of looks from the Maverick/Comets. After all they are the Aussy Ford.
    Thanks
    Matt

Here is my ideal 4 door.

    1) Teal/Cream........Teal on the top and let the teal splatter down like a paint run into the cream that will be right on the body line. Bottom 1/2 is cream.
    2) Tinted windows.
    3) definitely suicide the doors.
    4) lower it to where the top of the wheels are flush with the fender lip.
    5) Nice mild v8 with a quite rumble.
    6) a nice set of 16's. Some Boyd's or something like that. I nice set of 5 spoke type bling bling's.
    7) inside would be bench seats in the front.....its a 4 door!

    Good luck!

Jason I could not get that web site to come up. I would like to see your car.
What does it take to put a 302 in one of these bad boys? What other things would I have to do to the car to have a V8 work in the car? It would be nice:bananaman

Leave the car looking exactly the way it looks now, drop in a 408w,built AOD,4-wheel discs,373 gears and as quiet 2.5" exhaust as you can.Go kill f-bodies & mustangs often.Perfect for your alter ego.Use as directed, not legal in some states.
