You need to verify that your mechanicle timeing is correct before you go any further...
Pull right valve cover...Remove distributor cap...Manually turn engine over till you have both the intake and exhaust valves fully closed on the #1 cyl(pushrods will spin with your fingers) they will be tight but not impossible to spin...Now,Look at the rotor on the dist...It should point to the #1 plug wire point on the dist cap...If it dont...Look at the 0 deg mark on your balancer...It should line up on the pointer...If it does...Distributor is not installed properly.Install it so the rotor points to the #1 plug wire on the cap and try to fire it up...Sounds like (from your first post) that the timeing wasnt set properly.Constant cranking (trying to get it to run) will discharge the battery to the point where you will not get enough voltage/amperage to saturate the coil...Causing the weak spark...Check your timeing 8 ways from sunday to verify it is correct before you spend another dime...Good luck!

yes it sounds like your distributor is 180 out just run it up to TDC take the distributor out rotate the rotor 180 degrees put it back in and try to fire it.

Just out of all curiosity why didnt you just run down to autozone and get a replacement distributor, or pickup coil?
They are really cheap why go through all of the mess pulling one apart that might contain the wrong parts or might be bad just because its there?

My broinlaws is the who's helping me with this and says that it isn't the timing cause he already checked that.

And cause I didn't really know I needed a new one cause it still worked well with my other engine but I'm thinking of just buying another one now

Not trying to knock your brotherinlaw but...Does the term measure twice cut once ring a bell??? Verify mechanicle timeing is correct one more time. Then check fireing order/fuel delivery and electrical connections are correct and clean/tight.All the fuel you have pushed through that engine trying to get it running,it may be a good idea to pull the plugs out to clean em/dry em off and re-check your gaps...Good luck man!
