First of all let me say, nice car. I am painting mine this winter, right now it is silver(grey) and burgandy, I was thinking either one of those colors for the entire car. Yours is swaying my decision Secondly I would add: "to each there on", but for me I would stroke a 302. You can get loads of horsepower and save a little weight. Either way you go it looks like you have found a solid foundation to start with.....good luck!
