    Gas Tank fix

    COMETGUY08,
What part of Redford are you in? I am in South Redford. I have used Radiator Hospital on Farmington Rd. north of 9 Mile for air conditioning work and they have done a good job. I have the yellow 73 Maverick you may have seen running around Redford with "THE MAV" license plate.

    Welcome to the Madness!

Congrats on a great purchase. It seems that more GT's are coming out of the woodwork this past year, like the Sprints have been, too.

    Sounds like a great find.

Sounds like a plan to me. Name a time and place and I will let you know if it works for me. Hopefully Cometguy08 can make it too. By the way my first new car was a 71 Comet GT, 302 with a 3 speed on the floor. I later converted it to a drag car and ran 10.60's @110 mph. Let me know.

    Cometguy08,
An auto parts store I deal with at Newburgh & Five mile has a sending unit for a 65 to 69 Falcon which might work. He wants $30 and it is new. If you have your old one out, you can compare it. Give me a call @586-914-4292 if you need more info. Tell him Lee sent you.
