A lot of the parts I saved from the 72 Grabber above went on this yellow 71 I restored. This is #3 in my corral which I have given to my youngest son. My oldest son is driving the red one (#2) with black stripes which I did about 6 years ago. The one I've had longest, #1, is grabber green, factory buckets, 302, c4. It looks a lot like Shawn Simpsons green 72 Grabber but looks to be a little darker in color going by the photo. Then of course #4 is my latest one, the grabber blue one with the Shelby tail lights. This is where my rust free hood mentioned above wound up at. I need to get my side stripes on the blue one and I'll post some more pics of it.
The picture was taken right after they unloaded it off the trailer, and it was awaiting the shreader, I didn't wait around to see it get chewed into bits.
I've bought worse. Ill try to find the before pics of the 72 comet gt. Only reason I got it was it has low miles all orinigal and it was cheap. BUT it was totaled and sat in the back corner of a salvage yard for awhile. But what else am I gonna do with my extra money. FIX THE OTHER ONES. They will take less.
Hey razorsharp, What size tires are you running on the Red Grabber? BTW, Are you going to put the Keystones on one of your Mavericks?
Yup .. but parts of that car live on in numerous cars of people on this site ... BTW ... Dave ... was that picture taken with a digital camera and just a flash? That is a great nighttime shot ... what kind of camera is that?
Maverick73, The red car is running 255 15's on the rear. I have already gotten rid of the Keystones. I hated to get rid of them but didn't see myself using them anytime soon. Sold to a Mustanger.
For Razorsharp Razorsharp, What size wheels and tires are on your two pictures cars? I really like the stance of the yellow/magnum 500 car. How did you lower them?
