This last weekend I had my Maverick at the Goodguys event in Del Mar, CA. I have never owned a car that got so much attention before. The comments people were saying were great. Only a couple of bow tie die hards were negitive, but more people took photos of it over the Crower race car (Nova) next to it.

Our cars are coming of age!

How many will we have at the Fabulous Ford Show at Knott's Berry Farm on the 17th?

I know they do not have a Maverick class, but we can change that for next year if we can get a few. Heck even Ford Probes have there own class.

My Maverick's have always got attention, and I have owned um since 1974. I really think the heartland of America took to them waaaaaaaaaaaaay before the left and right coast. Glad to see your population base is catching up with us here in the midwest! Of course,, all of us knew it waaaaay before the average layman.

    Coop,
When our Falcon club rep went to the meeting on the show last Saturday they had close to 1800 entries. They closed entries today. It's gonna be a heck of a show. To bad ya can't enter, but you could still go to the show. Being a spectator is still FREE!

    Dan,
There seems to be a lot different car tastes between the coasts. On the old stuff ('40's and older) the left coast is Ford country, but when I was back in Indy last summer, the GM stuff was all over the place. The Ford show here gets sold out every year. There is always room at the bow tie and slow par shows.
