Yeah and we're working on a mike now, only better than the original, little less Travis Tritt Hey Mike.
Please tell me that technology does not exist. The world cannot survive more than one Frank at a time. Of course, if those KY boys can figure out how to do it, then that means anybody can. Yes, I did say that.
No one was cloning around. Thanks John & Becky. Great grub and bench racing. We gotta become NASCAR pit crew members. Lance lead us to do a tire swap without the use of a real tire changer. All he had were Screw drivers, a crow bar and lots of Wd-40. Oh and 8 of us watching him. Word of caution....... If ya bring anything to John's house and it sits to long in one spot it will be powder coated! Yeah John, those '74 spindles are unique.
Yeah Lance is a ace pit mechanic, and heres the pic to prove it. Yeah we love the powder coating. BTW it was great to finally meet everyone, I could have had a better trip there (dont ask) but overall I had a great time. I also owe a big thanks to everyone that helped me out along the way, even you Jonh, no matter what they say about you. :evilsmile
Here are the few pics that I got to take while I was there, the last one is why I had so much trouble getting to johns house.
I'm the greatest but I did have a little help from the "watchers" If we would have had some duct tape I could have done it faster
you laugh.. but here is a story i called the guy about the maverick.. these were his directions take hwy whatever from clarksville going whatever direction it was.. head to fearsville, ky. go to the y in the road. take the right side. after about 5 miles you will see a dead possom on the right side, not the left side... the right side... right after you see that, there will be a dirt road to the left. take the right turn on the paved road. when you see a red barn with the roof that has the old shingles, turn left. then you will see some cows. turn on that road, oh its the dirt one. then go to my house. its the middle house on that road. that road will go to a hwy. if you get to the highway you went to far. i was totally amazed.... and i only got lost 3 times. but i found his house. and just before it got dark, or i dont think i would have found it. i had three friends with me and we were laughing our butts off the whole time on the way to his house about the possom... lol
have i mentioned before that "I LOVE MY AOD" 1106 miles r/t 20.09 mpg watching lance, change tire...priceless Effie and i had a great time. John and Becky are the best . it was nice meeting Bob.:Handshake great seeing Laa..Laa..Lance, ward, Susan and Wilbur again. Isaac... that is a story in itself ...can you picture a Honda civic riding around Ky. with a 302 ford v8 in it...oh..oh and maverick grabber bucket seats in it. that made the trip worth it in itself...wish we had gotten some pics. of it i'll let John, tell ya'll about his ...rear end... J.W.L.W.B.I.F.F.
Spare? What spare? No spare, that's why lance got to pop a tire off of one of John's wheels on to the Honda's. Lance did have the first Hohda with a 302 Ford motor in the rear. We were just trying to figure out how he kept the front wheels on the ground!
