I've been working on a ton of color matching both under the hood and on the outside. Everything red under the hood including the top of the bayttery and the brake calipers are now body color. I also decided to do the grille in body color as well. I'm over the top happy with how all of this came out. One of my favorite things was finally finding a blue 12" oval air filter element. :)

The interior is done and all back together now as well. I love the satin black on the dash, column and doors. The billet knobs that match on the dash are a big improvement along with the solid stainless shift knob and the aluminum door handles that I made to complete the look. My buddy James Carter did his ususal fantastic job covering the door panels.

Incredible, a perfect example of why no project is ever done. There are always details that can get better. The doors look absolutely fantastic.

Thank you! There is always something going around in my head to change or improve. It's been really nice to have a winter list that was mostly the cosmetic changes that I've been wanting to make instead of having to deal with the list of mechanical issus we have in the past. Looking forward to a fun year driving and enjoying the car.

Well, more changes. :) I've wanted to do some custom exhaust to see if we could get it up and over the rear end over since I've had the car. Zach at Arkansas Performance Exhaust was just the guy for the job. He fit stainless pip in places that I almost can't believe but it turned out really nice. 59 total welds totally 38.5' of TIG weld.

And another thing that I've wanted to do was get a set of custom wheels and max out the rear tire considering it still has the stock wheel houses. The outer wheel lips had already been cut but I took that back to the max and radiused it to smooth it out. I also reshaped the front of the inner wheel houses to clear the 275/40-18's on 18 x 10's. The fronts are the same as before 225/45-17's on 17x7's. The new wheels are Raceline Smugglers with their custom offset and powdercoating.

The RRS suspension is pretty sporty feeling on it's own and I can't tell any difference in the ride. The 275/40-18's are 1/2" taller than the 255/45-17's so not much difference in the sidewall.
